These terms apply to the LoanSage iPhone app and the website at loansage.app (together, "LoanSage"). Both are run by MaSoft LLC, a Florida company ("we", "us"). By using LoanSage, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

LoanSage gives estimates, not financial advice

LoanSage's calculators, articles and rate information are for general education and planning. Results are estimates based on the figures you enter and on general assumptions. Your actual rate, payment, taxes, insurance, closing costs and savings will depend on your lender, your credit, your location and the terms of your loan.

Nothing in LoanSage is financial, legal, tax or lending advice, and nothing in it is an offer or approval for a loan. We're not a lender or a mortgage broker. Before you make a decision, check the numbers with a licensed lender or financial adviser.

Who can use LoanSage

You must be at least 18 to use LoanSage. It's designed for people buying, owning or refinancing a home in the United States.

Using the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the LoanSage app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn't a party to these terms and isn't responsible for the app or for supporting it. We are.

Shared scenarios

When you share a scenario, you're responsible for what's in it.

  • Anyone with the link can view it, so don't include information you wouldn't show the people you send it to.
  • Don't share other people's personal information without their permission.
  • Shared links stay online until you ask us to remove them. We may remove a shared scenario if it breaks these terms or the law, or if we stop offering sharing.

Email

Signing up for our newsletter is optional. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use LoanSage for anything unlawful or misleading;
  • scrape, overload or interfere with our servers, or access them other than through the app and website;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it.

We may suspend access for anyone who does.

Our content

The LoanSage name, logo, app, website, calculators and articles belong to MaSoft LLC and are protected by law. You can share links to our articles and quote short passages with credit. Please don't republish them in full.

Our articles link to other websites and sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

No warranties

LoanSage is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to keep the calculations correct, but we don't guarantee that LoanSage will be error-free or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MaSoft LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, savings or data, arising from your use of LoanSage or your reliance on its estimates. Our total liability for any claim relating to LoanSage is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Some states don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If you use LoanSage in a way that breaks these terms or the law, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes and ending these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll say so at the top of this page before they take effect. If you keep using LoanSage after that, you accept the updated terms.

You can stop using LoanSage at any time by deleting the app. We may change or discontinue any part of LoanSage. The sections on estimates, warranties, liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply after you stop.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
